Weekends

APPLICATIONS FOR WEEKENDS

Names will be placed on a list in order of asking. If full, names will be placed on a waiting list. An individual booking form, which MUST be completed by everyone wishing to attend, will be available at a time appropriate for each weekend. The form will specify a date by which monies due are to be paid – normally five to six weeks prior to the event. Until such money is paid the name of the person wishing to attend will not be confirmed to the Hotel, or included in our total attendance figure, as Hotels may impose penalties if a "confirmation" is cancelled.

Those attending Club Weekends are not, of course, obliged to attend every bridge session but everyone is asked to bear in mind that the afternoon/evening Duplicate Bridge sessions held on Saturdays and the Team event usually held on Sunday afternoon/evening are each intended to be one competition.

Come and enjoy five sessions of good, friendly bridge, relax in nice hotels and in bridge "downtime" explore the countryside, towns, shops, pubs and stately homes nearby. Come and compete for the Stanley Nicholls Trophy for Teams.
